Quick take

Offset circle hooks in a range of sizes for live bait and bottom fishing in fresh and saltwater.

This is a 160-piece assortment of black offset circle hooks in high carbon steel, sorted into sizes from 1 up to 5/0. The spread of sizes lets one box cover small panfish and trout hooks as well as larger hooks for bigger fish. It suits anglers who fish live or cut bait and want a range of sizes on hand, and it comes in a storage box.

Best for

Live bait rigging for catfish and large panfish
Saltwater bottom fishing
Anglers who prefer circle hook design

Skip if

You fish soft plastics; a worm hook is better
You release most fish; circle hooks are less likely to be swallowed deeply

Strengths

Wide size range in one box covers many bait fishing situations
Circle point design hooks often catch as fish turn away
High carbon steel resists bending on hard strikes

Trade-offs

Offset design requires proper knot technique to set correctly
Circle hooks need room to turn; they work best in open water not heavy cover
No storage box quality information in the listing
