Quick take
A 3-pack of 3/16 ounce tungsten bullet weights with smooth powder coating, sized for flipping and pitching heavy cover.
This silver 3/16 bullet weight is made of tungsten for anglers rigging worms, flipping and pitching for bass. Tungsten's density lets a weight of its mass keep a compact shape, which suits cover where a smaller profile helps the rig move through. The insert-free body has a smooth line hole, and the pack holds three weights.
Best for
- Bass fishing around thick weeds, wood and brush
- Flipping rigs tight to cover without hanging up
- Anglers using Texas or Carolina rigs in shallow water
Skip if
- You fish open water without cover
- You prefer lighter weights for suspended presentations
Strengths
- Tungsten is 50 percent denser than lead, creating a smaller profile for better penetration
- Smooth powder coating resists chipping and maintains color through repeated use
- Bullet shape moves through vegetation with minimal snagging
Trade-offs
- 3/16 ounce is a single size; a variety pack would suit more situations
- Tungsten can crack on impact if dropped on hard surfaces
