Quick take

A 6 ft telescoping spinning combo with medium action, sized for beginner and young anglers.

This Shakespeare Firebird is a ready-to-fish spinning combo with a medium-power fiberglass rod of about 6 feet and a pre-wound reel. An EVA foam grip and a cushioned reel seat keep it comfortable in the hand. The medium action and slim blank make casting easy to learn, which suits first-timers, kids and anyone after a simple setup for bass or trout.
