Quick take
Smooth 8-strand braided line with Japanese VT construction, sensitive for jigging and casting in fresh and salt water.
Best for
- Jigging in deep water where sensitivity matters
- Long casting with spinning reels
- Anglers fishing rocky structure or tight cover
Skip if
- You prefer monofilament line's stretch and forgivingness
- You fish in heavy weeds where braid can fray easily
Strengths
- 8-strand weave is smoother and quieter than 4-strand braid
- Tight round construction improves sensitivity for bottom contact
- Fine diameter lets you use heavier line weight on smaller reels
Trade-offs
- Braided line can fray when cut and needs a line clipper
- Light grey color is less visible than other brights but shows easier than green
- Braided line requires smaller guides and maintenance to prevent fraying
