Quick take
A compact Shimano spinning reel with SilentDrive technology for smooth, quiet operation in freshwater and inshore saltwater.
The Shimano Nasci FC in size 500 is a compact front-drag spinning reel with a 5.6:1 gear ratio, built for light line and small lures. It keeps cold-forged HAGANE gearing and the G-Free Body layout, while leaving off CoreProtect, SilentDrive and X-Ship found on larger sizes. A fit for anglers rigging ultralight setups for panfish, trout or other small freshwater species.
