Quick take
Pyramid sinkers with triangular shape for reduced water resistance and snag prevention.
This is an 18-piece set of 3 oz lead pyramid sinkers for surf and saltwater casting. The triangular shape is meant to bite into the bottom and snag less on rocks, and each weight has a center hole for threading line. It suits anglers who want a stack of spare bottom weights for surf rigs and bass setups.
Best for
- Surf fishing and heavy current areas
- Bottom rigs in deep saltwater
- Casting and holding position on sandy bottoms
Skip if
- You fish freshwater only in gentle current
- You need split shot or smaller sinkers
Strengths
- Pyramid shape reduces water resistance for faster sinking
- Three oz weight handles strong currents and deep water
- Center hole allows easy line rigging
Trade-offs
