Quick take
Football jigs with heavy-duty weedguard that slip through thick cover while the silicone skirt provides bulk and action on the bottom.
This six-pack of football jigs, each a quarter ounce with a weedless guard and a multi-colored silicone skirt, suits flipping, pitching and punching into cover. The football-shaped head helps the jig stand up on the bottom, and the weedguard is built to slide through brush and rocky areas. Bass is the primary target, and the set also lists walleye, catfish, crappie, northern pike and perch.

- Flipping and pitching into heavy grass and wood
- Fishing rocky and weedy bottom structures

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
