Quick take
High-carbon steel circle hooks with pronounced bend for mouth hooking and live bait.
This is a 120-piece pack of black high-carbon steel circle hooks with a hollow point and an offset bend. The curved shape tends to set in the corner of a fish's mouth, which makes unhooking easier when you fish live or cut bait. It suits catfish and bass anglers who want a large supply of hooks for the tackle box.
Best for
- Live bait on the bottom
- Catfish and large saltwater species
- Catch-and-release fishing
Skip if
- You use small hooks for panfish
- You need thin-wire hooks for finesse
Strengths
- Circle hook design hooks mouth corners automatically
- Pronounced bend resists rolling
- High-carbon steel is corrosion-resistant
Trade-offs
