Quick take
Round jig heads with underspin blades and painted eyes sized for crappie and panfish on light tackle.
The 3/16 oz underspin head from SILANON pairs a round jig head with a spinner blade on a swivel, adding flash and vibration to a soft plastic. Its needle point and bait keeper suit anglers working crappie, bass, trout and walleye. The kit holds twenty-five heads in five colors, so one box covers many setups.
Best for
- Fishing small soft plastic bodies on tight lines
- Bright flash and vibration for crappie and bluegill
- Vertical jigging in shallow water
Skip if
- You fish large jigs for bass
- You need heavy-duty construction for snags
Strengths
- Spinner blade adds flash and vibration to attract fish
- Big painted eyes trigger more strikes
- Multiple sizes and colors for different water conditions
Trade-offs
- Light wire hooks bend under strong pressure
- Spinner blade can foul line if not rigged carefully
- Best suited to panfish; too light for bass
