Quick take

A duffel bag that opens completely into a changing mat and holds two pairs of waders with room for muddy boots.

The Taco Bag is a round wader duffel that zips open into a flat changing mat, so you can stand clear of mud while you swap gear at the truck. It has room for two pairs of stockingfoot waders and two pairs of boots. A 600 denier nylon shell, mesh vents and a YKK zipper round out a bag made for hauling wet gear home.

Best for

  • Wading trips where you carry multiple wader pairs
  • Changing in the field without sitting on wet ground
  • Gear management after muddy fishing sessions

Skip if

  • You use chest waders only once per trip
  • You have vehicle storage for wet gear

Strengths

  • Opens completely flat to create ground-level changing mat
  • Mesh vents prevent mold and mildew growth
  • Fits two full wader pairs plus boots

Trade-offs

  • Only useful for waders, not general tackle storage
  • Duffel design less convenient than separate compartments
  • Large when fully packed with two wader sets
