Quick take

Neoprene and cloth finger gloves that protect fingers from hooks, line and thorns while maintaining casting grip.

This three-pack of open-finger casting gloves leaves the thumb and index finger free for feel while a neoprene back and a grippy palm cover the rest of the hand. A hook-and-loop strap adjusts the fit at the wrist, and the set comes in black, red and blue. They are made for the right hand, so they suit anglers who cast and handle line with that hand and want some protection from line, hooks and brush.

Best for

Casting and handling live bait where fingers need protection
Saltwater fishing to prevent line cuts on fingers
Cold weather when you need finger flexibility more than full-hand warmth

Skip if

You need both hands covered; these are right hand only
You fish with heavy gloves; this offers minimal insulation

Strengths

Thumb and two fingers expose for manipulation while neoprene back protects the hand

Three colors and three-pack provides backup and options

Trade-offs

Right hand only; left-handed anglers need a different product
