Quick take
A compact telescopic landing net with a foldable frame and floating nylon mesh, designed for gentle catch-and-release on any water.
This is a foldable landing net with an aluminum handle, an EVA grip and a rubber-coated nylon mesh that keeps hooks from snagging. The hoop is 14.5 inches wide and the foam-padded frame floats, so a net dropped over the side is easy to retrieve. At 28 inches long it suits wade, kayak and bank anglers who release trout, bass or steelhead.
Best for
- Bank and wade fishing for trout and salmon
- Kayak fishing where space is limited
- Anglers who want a portable net that collapses for storage
Skip if
- You fish boats with deck-mounted rod holders
- You need a large hoop for saltwater tarpon or pike
Strengths
- Telescopic pole extends for reach, collapses for carry
- Floating design prevents net loss if dropped in water
- Rubber-coated nylon is gentle on fish and hook-free
Trade-offs
- 14.5-inch hoop is small for large saltwater species
- Foldable frame has more joints and potential failure points
- Aluminum pole can dent if bumped hard
