Quick take
A 3-tier rod rack that holds 12 rods and moves on 360-degree swivel wheels for easy reorganizing.
This rolling three-tier cart gathers up to 12 rods and the gear that goes with them in one spot in the garage. Foam-lined slots hold the rods upright along the sides, while the middle tier adds a pegboard with hooks for pliers, lures and small tools. Four swivel wheels let you roll it out to the driveway or tuck it back against the wall, and the powder-coated iron frame is rust resistant.
Best for
- Garage organization for a larger rod collection
- Keeping rods visible and accessible
- Flexible rearrangement when reorganizing
Skip if
- You have fewer than 5 rods; this rack is oversized
- You want to save floor space; wall-mounted is more compact
Strengths
- Holds 12 rods in a 50-inch height and smaller footprint
- 360-degree wheels let you move the entire rack anywhere
- EVA foam slots protect rods from scratches
Trade-offs
- Footprint of 12.6 x 17.7 inches takes up floor space
- Wheels need to roll smoothly on garage floors with debris
- Three-tier design means some rods are at awkward heights
