Quick take
A 3/8 oz buzzbait with a perforated blade designed by Kevin VanDam for bass fishing in shallow water.
This 3/8 oz buzzbait in Black Chartreuse is a surface bait for working over shallow cover for bass. Its perforated blade gurgles and trails bubbles as it churns along. A grass cone ahead of the blade turns aside weeds, and a long-shank hook rides set back from the blade.

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
