Quick take
Eight-inch soft worms with bubble tail, coffee scent, and extra salt for bottom and drop-shot rigging.
The Strike King KVD Perfect Plastic Bullworm OPT is an 8-inch straight-tail worm built with a ribbed round body, flat bottom and beveled bubble tail. It is poured with Open Pour Technology for a softer feel than the original Bullworm, and it carries a coffee scent and a heavy salt load. Bass anglers working ledges and other deeper structure will find it a natural fit for Texas rigs and similar slow presentations.
Best for
- Bottom fishing on ledges and rocky areas
- Drop-shot rigs in clear water
- Autumn and winter bass fishing
Skip if
- You fish topwater or need shallow presentations
- You prefer worms without scent additives
Strengths
- Coffee scent adds sensory trigger for bass
- Salt loading promotes natural feel and faster sinking
- Bubble tail adds subtle undulation without bulk
Trade-offs

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
