Quick take

A 4 in bass worm with a hinged tail and coffee scent that provides extra action on bottom rigs and drop-shots.

The Strike King KVD Dream Shot is a 4-inch soft plastic worm with a hinged tail section, built for drop shot rigging and sold with a coffee scent. Its flat edge can help the bait hang in the water column on a drop shot rig, and the tail adds action when it is twitched. Anglers after a compact worm for bass, trout or panfish will find a straightforward option for slow, close-to-bottom presentations.

Best for

Bass on drop-shot rigs in lakes and rivers
Bottom bouncing in moving water
Pressured bass that need subtle presentations

Skip if

You need a buoyant worm that floats off bottom
You fish open water where action lures work better

Strengths
