Quick take
A twin-tail soft plastic grub designed for bass fishing on jigs or Carolina rigs with erratic tail action.
A twin-tail soft plastic grub for bass fishing, shown here in a Crawdaddy color. The paired tails ripple on the fall and the retrieve, and the body works on a jighead, a Texas or Carolina rig, or as a jig trailer. It is a handy pick for anglers who like to cover several presentations with one shape.
Best for
- Texas rig and Carolina rig applications
- Finesse jig trailers
- Bass fishing in vegetation and structure

Strengths
- Twin tail creates action even at slow fall speeds
- Works as a jig trailer or standalone on a jighead

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
