Quick take

Advanced braided superline with eight strands and GORE Performance Fiber for superior abrasion resistance and sensitivity.

This is a 15 lb test braided line in Coastal Camo, spooled with 300 yards. It combines seven HMPE fibers with one GORE Performance Fiber in a tight 32-pick weave, giving a round, thin-diameter line. A good fit for anglers who want a light braid for casting and feeling subtle bites.

Best for

  • Fishing heavy cover and weeds where durability matters
  • Techniques requiring sensitivity to light strikes
  • Saltwater fishing where UV and abrasion are concerns

Skip if

  • You want a line that does not require a leader
  • You fish open water where monofilament suffices

Strengths

  • Small diameter for 15 lb rating allows longer casts and reduces drag
  • GORE Performance Fiber improves abrasion resistance significantly
  • HMPE fiber provides high strength-to-diameter ratio and sensitivity

Trade-offs

  • Braided line requires a fluorocarbon leader to avoid visibility issues
  • Does not stretch so requires careful drag adjustment to avoid break-offs
  • Coastal Camo color shows more visibility in clear water than green or black
