Quick take

An 8-fiber braided line combining Dyneema and GORE-TEX fibers for abrasion resistance, casting distance, and reduced line vibration.

Sufix 832 Braid Camo in an 80-pound, 300-yard spool, built from seven HMPE fibers and one GORE Performance Fiber. The camo pattern breaks up the line's outline in the water, and at about 0.018 inches across it stays slim for its test strength, which suits heavy saltwater and cover fishing.

Best for

  • Casting distance in open water
  • Areas with sharp rocks or shells
  • Anglers who want sensitivity and low-stretch

Skip if

  • You need line that blends into clear water
  • You prefer monofilament stretch for shock absorption

Strengths

  • Thin diameter per pound test allows more capacity
  • Camo color breaks up silhouette underwater
  • GORE-TEX fiber improves abrasion resistance

Trade-offs

  • Braided line is visible in clear water
  • Requires backing to prevent slipping on spool
