Quick take

A 17 lb monofilament line with micro resin for superior strength and low line memory, wound on a 330 yard spool.

This 17 lb monofilament comes on a 330-yard spool in low-vis green, built on a micro resin formula with G2 precision winding. The winding is designed to leave the line soft and limp off the spool, which helps with handling and casting. It suits anglers who want one monofilament for everyday fishing, from first trips to seasoned anglers.

Best for

  • General spinning and casting for medium fish
  • Anglers seeking long castability
  • Both freshwater and saltwater applications

Skip if

  • You need fluorocarbon stealth
  • You fish ultra-light applications

Strengths

  • Micro resin formula provides strength and handling
  • Low memory reduces twist and casting tangles
  • Large 330 yard spool reduces respool frequency

Trade-offs

  • Monofilament is visible to fish compared to fluorocarbon
  • Line memory returns over time in storage
  • Not ideal for braided line enthusiasts
