Quick take
A metered lead-core trolling line with 10-color sequence for accurate depth tracking and sinking speed.
Best for
- Trolling for deep-diving species without downriggers
- Achieving consistent depth with color-coded depth marking
- Saltwater trolling for offshore species
Skip if
- You prefer monofilament or braided line for trolling
- You use planer boards or downriggers for depth control
Strengths
- High-density lead center sinks fast and maintains depth through trolling
- 10-color sequence marks depth; 10 yards per color for precise control
- Polyester braid coating adds abrasion resistance and durability
Trade-offs
- Lead-core line is heavy and tires arms on long retrieve
- Spool requires careful management; tangles are hard to fix
- Visible color marking is obvious to fish in clear water
