Quick take
A 6-gallon EVA collapsible bucket with a lid, designed to hold and transport live bait or fishing gear while folding flat for storage.
This orange foldable bucket is made of EVA and holds about 24 quarts, roughly 6 gallons, for keeping live fish or bait. It has a lid and a plastic handle, and it measures 15.7 by 9.8 by 9.8 inches. At about 1.5 pounds it is light to carry, which suits anglers who want a live well on the bank or dock.
Best for
- Live bait storage for extended trips
- Live wells in boats without a permanent livewell
- Foldable storage when not in use
Skip if
- You need a rigid, hard-sided container
- You fish only artificial lures
Strengths
- EVA material is tough and won't crack from drops
- Rectangular shape maximizes space and fits in tight places
- Folds down to nothing for storage in a truck bed or garage
Trade-offs
- EVA is less rigid than hard plastic; may not hold shape under weight
- 6-gallon capacity is small for extended multi-day trips
- Fold seams may eventually leak with heavy use
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
- Techniques
- Live bait
