Quick take

65 lb monofilament line with blue-green coloring that suppresses light reflection underwater.

Best for

  • Saltwater big game fishing where strength is critical
  • Anglers targeting large catfish and pike
  • Situations requiring leader material

Skip if

  • You need lighter test for panfish or trout
  • You prefer braided line for sensitivity

Strengths

  • High 65 lb breaking strength handles large saltwater species
  • Blue-green color reduces visible reflection compared to clear mono
  • Cassette-wrapped finish prevents loose strands on the spool
  • Soft finish improves handling and knot security

Trade-offs

  • 65 lb test is heavy for most freshwater fishing
  • Monofilament stretches more than braided line
  • Blue-green color not as effective in extremely turbid water
