Quick take

Fifty plastic minnow lures with 3D eyes and split tails for bass, crappie and trout in fresh and saltwater.

This is a 50-piece pack of soft plastic minnow baits, each 2.75 inches long and 0.08 ounce, with a split tail that moves on a slow retrieve. The light weight suits small jigheads and finesse presentations aimed at bass, trout, panfish and crappie. A bulk pack like this lets a newer angler rig and replace baits freely while learning what the fish want.

Best for

  • Jig trailers under spinning rigs
  • Small species like crappie and panfish
  • Matching natural forage in mixed-species fisheries

Skip if

  • You need large lures for pike or muskie
  • You prefer hard-bodied crankbaits

Strengths

  • 50-piece pack means you always have backup lures
  • Split tail provides realistic finesse presentation
  • Scented silicone oil coating helps fish locate the lure by taste

Trade-offs

  • 2.75 in length too small for large bass or pike
  • Thin plastic body tears easily on sharp cover
  • Soft plastic attracts salt and dirt if stored wet

About this type

A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.

Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.

Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
