Quick take
A waterproof vinyl ruler decal with photos of 20 Florida saltwater species and FWC regulations for size and slot limits at a glance.
This peel-and-stick vinyl strip pairs a 36-inch measuring scale with color photos of 20 common Florida saltwater fish. Colored brackets mark the slot ranges for red drum, spotted seatrout, black drum and snook, so you can see at a glance whether a fish falls inside the keeper window. It suits boat owners, charter captains and inshore or offshore anglers who want to identify and measure a catch in one step.
Best for
- Florida saltwater anglers and charter boats
- Boat and kayak applications where regulations must be immediately available
- Quick identification of catch and regulatory compliance verification
Skip if
- You fish outside Florida waters
- You fish freshwater
Strengths
- High-resolution color photos make species identification quick and certain
- Highlighted slot limit brackets eliminate guesswork on legal keeper size
- UV-resistant vinyl survives years of sun, spray and handling
Trade-offs
- Vinyl does not adhere well to polyethylene and polypropylene coolers and kayaks
- Decal format limits flexibility if regulations change between printing batches
- 20-species selection is specific to Florida and not useful outside the state
