Quick take
Twenty-four size 2/0 barrel swivels with a 600 lb rating, built from stainless steel and brass for heavy-duty rigs.
A pack of 24 size 2/0 barrel swivels with a brass body and stainless steel eyes, made for catfish rigs and trotlines. The polished finish turns freely to cut down on line twist. They suit heavier terminal setups for catfish, carp, pike and other big freshwater fish, and they pair with matching bumper sinkers and sliders.
Best for
- Building catfish and sturgeon rigs on trotlines
- Heavy-duty terminal tackle needing rotation without line twist
- Saltwater applications where corrosion resistance matters
Skip if
- You fish light line and need smaller, streamlined swivels
- You need fast snap-clip connections; these are barrel swivels only
Strengths
- 600 lb strength rating handles trophy catfish and sturgeon without breaking
- Stainless steel eyes and brass body resist corrosion in saltwater
- Precision-polished finish rotates freely, reducing line twist on long drifts
Trade-offs
- Size 2/0 is large and visible; use in clear water with a leader
- Heavy-duty construction adds bulk compared to light spinning swivels
- Requires strong knots; careless tying can slip
