Quick take

Silicone and plastic line holders that keep spooled leaders and snell rigs tangle-free and organized in the tackle box.

This set of ten round line keepers pairs soft silicone with a plastic slot and lock cover that holds the end of a line, leader or snell rig. Each disc is about 2.3 inches across and under half an inch thick, so a handful slip easily into a tackle box or vest pocket. They suit anglers who want pre-tied rigs and spare leaders kept coiled and tangle-free until needed.

Best for

Organizing leader spools and pre-tied rigs
Preventing tangles when pulling gear from a snag
Storing tenkara line and other specialty rigging

Skip if

You use only bulk spools of fresh line
You need holders for very thick line or rope

Strengths

Soft silicone does not damage line or damage the line finish
Plastic slot and lock cover secure the line end firmly
Compact size fits into most tackle boxes

Trade-offs

Random colors mean you cannot color-code by line type
Silicone material can stick when stacked together
