Quick take
Tapered furled line for tenkara fly fishing in small streams and creeks.
This tapered tenkara line comes in 9, 11 and 13 foot lengths, so anglers can match the line to their rod and the water they fish. Its furled synthetic build ends in a transition loop rated at 80 pounds that girth-hitches to the rod tip. The gold finish runs through the family's lengths.
Best for
- Tenkara fishing in tight, technical streams
- Anglers learning tenkara techniques
- Small creeks where short-line control matters
Skip if
- You use Western fly reels; tenkara uses fixed lines
- You need long casting distance over open water
Strengths
- Tapered design provides natural line control and presentation
- Soft spectra transition loop rated for 80 lbs
- Lengths suit different stream conditions and rod sizes
