Quick take
Mesh bucket covers that fit standard 5-gallon buckets for live bait storage and organization.
This is a black mesh topper that turns a standard 5-gallon bucket into an open trash can for the boat. It comes as a 2-pack and folds flat when not in use, which suits small boats with little room. The mesh is easy to rinse, and it can also cover a bait bucket or carry loose gear.
Best for
- Keeping bait aerated during fishing
- Organizing gear in boat or vehicle
- Reducing water and litter in boats
Skip if
- You transport bait in specialized coolers
- You fish from shore only
Strengths
- Mesh allows water circulation to keep bait alive
- Folds flat for compact boat storage
- Durable marine-grade materials withstand saltwater
Trade-offs
- Mesh may allow small fish or baitfish to escape
- Closure may come loose from vibration
- Mesh can clog with debris in murky water
