Quick take
Lightweight aluminum pliers with stainless braid cutters and tungsten wire cutters.
These Tides pliers combine a lightweight aluminium frame with stainless steel braid cutters, tungsten steel wire cutters and molded rubber grips. A split ring tool and crimping jaws mean one tool on the belt covers rigging chores for both freshwater and saltwater trips. This silver version is about 10 inches long and weighs roughly 0.28 kilograms.
Best for
- Cutting braided line efficiently at the knot
- Opening split rings on terminal tackle
