Quick take
Durable ABS plastic rod racks that hold fishing rods vertically in a boat gunwale or rod holder slot.
This is a pair of white ABS plastic tube rod racks meant for deck mounting, each about 12 inches tall with a 2.4 inch opening. They suit anglers who want a simple way to keep rods upright on a boat, whether for trolling, tournament or deep sea outings. Screws come with the set, so they can go on a deck or be swapped in as replacement parts.
Best for
- Organizing rods on tournament boats or center consoles
- Storing rods in storage when not in use
- Replacing worn or damaged original rod holders
Skip if
- You want horizontal rod storage
- You need holders sized for rods larger than 2.4 inches
Strengths
- Durable ABS plastic withstands salt spray and weather
- Eay install and remove without tools
- Compact 2 inch width fits most rod holder slots
Trade-offs
- White plastic color shows age and staining over time
- Tight 2.4 inch inlet accepts only standard spinning rod handles
- Inflexible ABS cracks if over-torqued during install
