Quick take
A plastic organizer for keeping snelled hooks or pre-rigged fishing rigs separated and readily accessible.
This snelled hook holder is a flat plastic strip about 10.8 inches long that keeps pre-tied snells and rigs separated so they do not tangle in the tackle box. Both sides can be used, which doubles the number of rigs one strip carries. It weighs 0.17 pounds and measures roughly 2.4 inches wide and 0.6 inch thick, so it slips into a tray or bag easily. This version comes as a set of two yellow holders.
Best for
- Organizing multiple snelled hook sizes
- Keeping live-bait rigs untangled
- Bank fishing where quick rig selection is needed
Skip if
- You tie rigs on the water
- You use primarily unrigged terminal tackle
Strengths
- Double-sided design maximizes storage
- Low profile fits in tackle boxes easily
- Plastic construction is water-resistant
Trade-offs
- Limited storage capacity for multiple rig types
- Plastic construction may become brittle in UV
- Not ideal for large saltwater rigs
