Quick take
Pre-rigged soft swimbaits with a hybrid curly and paddle tail that generate underwater vibrations and trembling movements.
This is a 3-inch pre-rigged soft swimbait in a pack of six, weighing a quarter ounce each. Its body is molded from a TPE plastic and it comes fitted with a Mustad hook and a BKK treble, so it is ready to cast out of the pack. Anglers going after bass, trout or crappie can use it as a simple swim-and-pause search bait.
Best for
- Freshwater bass fishing with steady or stop-and-go retrieves
- Trout and panfish in small streams and ponds
- Low-light conditions using fluorescent or glow materials
Skip if
- You fish heavy weeds or wood cover
- You prefer single-hook lures to avoid snags
Strengths
- TPE material stretches and flexes without tearing unlike PVC soft baits
- Dual hook setup with Mustad and BKK provides strong penetration on hard strikes
- Hybrid tail creates visible underwater vibrations even in murky water
Trade-offs
- Pre-rigged with treble hooks makes the lure snag-prone in vegetation
- TPE material must be stored away from standard PVC soft baits or it will stick
- Glow-in-the-dark requires sunlight or black light to charge effectively

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
