Quick take
A 5.4 inch jointed swimbait with internal rattles and Dyneema fiber joints that produces wiggling, vibrating, and gurgling action.
Best for
- Multi-species freshwater and saltwater fishing
- Family fishing situations requiring simple presentations
- Areas where noise and vibration trigger strikes from distance
Skip if
- You need silent stealth presentations
- You fish ultra-clear water
Strengths
- Dyneema fiber joints are tougher than soft plastic and resist tearing
- Internal rattles produce sound and vibration that call fish
- Segmented body creates natural baitfish swimming action
Trade-offs
- Internal rattle can rattle loose if plastic is damaged
- Multi-jointed design is more fragile than single-body lures
- Larger profile and rattle make it less effective for pressured fish

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
