Quick take
Extra-strong EWG offset worm hooks in six sizes, black chrome finish, 100-piece assortment.
This is a 100-piece assortment of offset EWG worm hooks in six sizes, from #1 up to 5/0, packed in a reusable plastic box. The wide gap and shoulder bend are made for holding soft plastics on Texas and Carolina rigs, and for rigging Senko-style baits. The high-carbon steel hooks carry a black finish and needle points, a handy spread for bass and trout anglers who rig worms in several sizes.
Best for
- Rigging soft plastics on Texas and Carolina rigs
- Bass fishing with worms and craws
- Freshwater and saltwater
Skip if
- You fish live bait; use circle or J-hooks instead
- You need only one size
Strengths
- Wide gap accommodates thick soft plastics easily
- Z-lock shoulder bend holds plastics in place
- 2X-strong forged steel resists bending on hard strikes
Trade-offs
- Black chrome finish wears off with use
