Quick take
Three-way stainless steel swivels for building double-drop rigs and multiple-hook setups.
This is a 50-piece pack of stainless steel three-way swivels in a black nickel finish, each about 1.06 inches long. The T-shaped design lets you tie a main line, a leader and a dropper to separate eyes, which suits double drop rigs and minnow rigs for crappie. It works in fresh and salt water, and the multi-piece pack keeps spares on hand for rig building.
Best for
- Double-drop crappie and pompano rigs
- Catfish Carolina and bottom rigs
- Trolling spreads with multiple lines
Skip if
- You fish single-hook presentations
- You need compact terminal tackle
Strengths
- Three-way design allows bait or weight on one line, leader on another
- Stainless steel and nickel finish resist saltwater corrosion
- Smooth rotation in all three directions prevents line twisting
Trade-offs
- Bulkier than barrel swivels, adds visible hardware to a rig
- Three-way swivels tend to tangle more than two-way designs in braid
- Requires specific rigging technique for multi-hook setups
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
