Quick take

Lead split shot sinkers with soft central notch that will not break braided or light line.

This pack of 50 flat round lead split shot adds weight to a line so a bait sinks faster. Each piece pinches onto the line with a wrench, so weight can be added or moved as conditions change. Pinched a few inches ahead of a lure's eye, one piece takes the lure deeper without a heavier lure. At 0.3 by 0.2 inches, they suit bass, catfish, crappie and trout rigs in fresh and salt water.

Best for

Adding weight to light lines without equipment
Float rigs and bottom bouncing
Adjusting presentation on the fly

Skip if

Strengths
