Quick take
A 150-meter 8-braid PE line with 20.2 lb breaking strength and thin diameter for sensitive lure control in saltwater sea bass fishing.
Best for
- Sea bass jigging and casting in saltwater
- Detecting light bites through the line
- Casting long distances with minimal line drag
Skip if
- Freshwater fishing where saltwater line coating is unnecessary
- Reel sizes that need monofilament for backing
Strengths
- 8-braid construction creates a perfectly round, supple line
- Ultra-smooth finish reduces friction on guides for longer casts
- High sensitivity provides immediate bite detection
Trade-offs
- Braided line is visible to fish in clear water unless a leader is used
- PE line sinks slowly and requires weight for deep jigging
- Requires practice to tie knots that hold properly
Fishing fit
- Water
- Saltwater
- Skill level
- Intermediate
