Quick take
50 m of 40 lb nylon leader material used by competitive big-game fishermen.
Varivas Harris is a single-strand nylon leader in mist grey, sold on a 50 meter spool. It is made as an all-purpose shock leader for freshwater and saltwater, so it suits anglers who rig leaders for trolling, jigging or big game work. The spool gives room to tie several leaders from one purchase.
Best for
- Trolling leaders for saltwater
- Jigging rigs and bottom presentations
- Competitive large-fish fishing
Skip if
- You need fluorocarbon for invisibility
- You fish with light line and finesse
Strengths
- High breaking strength suits large fish and heavy tackle
- Proven durability endorsed by competitive anglers
- Works for both trolling and bottom techniques
Trade-offs
