Quick take
Tungsten drop shot weights that sink fast and stay where you place them, for precise vertical presentations.
This 7 g tungsten drop-shot weight, about a quarter ounce, is built for finesse rigs where a compact, dense sinker helps you feel the bottom. Its grenade shape suits flat cover, and the Quick Change System lets you swap weights on the water. It suits bass anglers who fish a drop shot and want a sinker they can change in seconds.
Best for
- Bass in deep water with drop shot rigs
- Vertical jigging over structure
- Anglers fishing tournament-style drop shot
Skip if
- You fish shallow structure; these sink too fast
- You need a slower-sinking weight for suspended fish
Strengths
- Tungsten is denser than lead, much smaller for same weight
- Quick-change slot compatible with several brands
- Oval shape minimizes hanging up on bottom
Trade-offs
- Only two pieces; need to replace or buy packs separately
- Tungsten feel different and takes practice
