Quick take
Pre-tied stainless steel fishing leaders with two arms, used for live bait and multi-lure setups in fresh and saltwater.
This is a pack of 12 two-arm stainless steel wire leaders, each fitted with snaps, swivels and red beads. The main leader runs about 20.9 inches with 3.4-inch arms, so you can clip on a lure or bait and a second hook without tying a rig at the water. Steel wire suits toothy species such as pike, muskie and pickerel, and the set works in both freshwater and saltwater.
Best for
- Trolling two lures or baits simultaneously
- Saltwater fishing where bite-offs from toothy fish are common
- Pike and catfish fishing with live bait
Skip if
- You fish single lures and want simplicity
- You fish light line in clear water; wire is too visible
Strengths
- Two-arm design lets you run two baits or a bait and a teaser
- Stainless steel is corrosion-resistant in saltwater
- Pre-tied reduces setup time before fishing
Trade-offs
- Main leader at 90 lb and arms at 55 lb create uneven strength
- Stainless wire is more visible than mono in clear water
- Not adjustable if you need different arm lengths
