Quick take
A wooden rod rack with vertical storage for 14 rods, stable double-column design, and rubber-band clips for secure hold and easy access.
A floor-standing wood rack with a double-column frame that holds up to 14 rods or combos in a garage, den or study. Rubber-banded clips along the top keep rods in place and easy to pull free. It measures 8 by 16 by 25 inches, weighs about 1.4 kilograms and comes in a walnut color, so it can be moved around when needed. Assembly is required.
Best for
- Garage storage to keep rods organized and visible
- Displaying a collection of favorite rods
- Keeping rods off the floor where they can snap
Skip if
- You have limited floor space; this needs a 25-inch height clearance
- You want to hide rods; this display model puts them on show
Strengths
- Double-column frame stays stable without wobble
- Holds 14 rods without wall mounting
- Rubber clips protect rods and let you slide them in and out easily
Trade-offs
- Wooden construction means finish can scratch from rod reels
- Heavier than wall-mount racks and harder to relocate
- Takes up garage or room floor space
