Quick take

A lightweight 60 cm landing net mesh head with double-braided nylon, suitable as a replacement or standalone net.

This VGEBY replacement landing net mesh is a rectangular, braided polyethylene net sized at 60 cm. It weighs about 43 g, so it adds almost nothing to a pack. It suits anglers who want to re-net a landing pole or frame rather than buy a whole new net, and it can ride along on a pier trip.

Best for

  • Replacing worn nets on existing handles
  • Lightweight carp and coarse fishing
  • Bank and shore fishing

Skip if

  • You need a net with handle included
  • You fish primarily for large saltwater species

Strengths

  • Double-braided mesh is strong and durable
  • Lightweight at 43 g for easy handling
  • Large 60 cm diameter handles fish to size

Trade-offs

  • Mesh only, handle not included
  • Polyethylene frame not as rigid as aluminum
  • Not ideal for very large or powerful fish
