Quick take
Bank rod holders with 360-degree rotation and stainless steel ground spike for holding spinning and casting rods.
This is a two-pack of ground-mount rod holders for fishing from the bank, with four small rod alarm bells included. Each head turns 360 degrees horizontally and tilts about 130 degrees vertically, locked with a nut, so you can aim the rod for river, lake or sea. A tapered stainless steel spike pushes into mud, sand or rock cracks, and the pieces detach for carrying.
Best for
- Shore and bank fishing with multiple rods
- Catfish and bottom fishing at night
- Hands-free fishing while waiting
Skip if
- You fish small streams or wade frequently
- You need maximum portability
Strengths
- 360-degree head rotation positions rods for different angles
- Stainless steel spike anchors in mud, sand, or soft ground
- Accommodates most spinning and casting rod sizes
Trade-offs
- Difficult to anchor in rocky or hard ground
- Requires carrying 2 units for multiple rods
- Ground spike may pull up in wind on loose sand
