Quick take
Lightweight finesse weights with conical ribs that anchor into the head or tail of soft plastics without damaging them.
This is a pack of ten 1/8 oz lead wacky weights in a natural finish. The ribbed sides grip a soft plastic bait without tearing it, so you can push one into the head or tail to change how the bait falls. It suits finesse presentations such as wacky and Neko rigs in freshwater.
Best for
- Wacky-rigging soft plastics on light line
- Finesse presentations for pressured bass
- Texas-rigging lightweight baits
Skip if
- You need heavier weights for deep water or current
- You fish live bait that requires a different rigging style
Strengths
- Conical ribs grip plastic without cutting or tearing
- Light enough for delicate finesse presentations
- Can insert at head or tail to adjust fall rate
Trade-offs
- 1/8 oz is too light for some water depths or current
- Requires soft plastic baits to rig
- Small size makes them easy to lose
