Quick take

A 10-pack of 1/16 oz neko weights with conical ribs that secure plastics without damaging them.

A pack of ten 1/16 oz VMC Neko weights in a natural finish, made for Neko and wacky rigs with soft plastics. Conical ribs hold each weight in the bait without tearing it, and the slim profile leaves room to tune the bait's action. The light size suits finesse and drop-shot style presentations.

Best for

  • Neko-rigging soft plastics for finesse presentations
  • Wacky rigging and drop-shot applications
  • Bass fishing when light weights keep action subtle

Skip if

  • You need heavier weights for depth
  • You fish topwater or shallow water exclusively

Strengths

  • Conical ribs grip plastic firmly without puncturing
  • Thin profile allows modification of lure action
  • 1/16 oz suits light line and ultralight tackle

Trade-offs

  • Weight is too light for deep water or strong current
  • Conical ribs may loosen over time with repeated use
  • Thin plastic insertion point can crack if over-torqued
