Quick take

Small 1/8 oz tungsten neko weights with conical ribs that anchor in soft plastic without damage.

A ten-pack of 1/8 oz neko weights from VMC in a natural finish. The ribbed, conical body grips the end of a soft plastic bait without tearing it, and the slim profile leaves room to shape how the bait moves. Suited to neko rigs, drop-shot setups and wacky-rigged finesse worms.

Best for

  • Neko rigging soft worms and Senko-style baits
  • Drop-shot and wacky rig finesse presentations
  • Anglers who want lightweight presentations

Skip if

  • You need heavier weights for deep water
  • You use standard split shot

Strengths

  • Tungsten is denser than lead; smaller size for less weight loss
  • Conical ribs grip soft plastic firmly without tearing
  • Thin profile allows modification of bait action

Trade-offs

  • 1/8 oz is very light; limited to finesse presentations
  • Thin profile requires precise placement on the bait
