Quick take
A wacky weedless jig head in black nickel with an offset point, designed for wacky rigs in shallow cover.
This 3/16 oz wacky weedless jig pairs a 1/0 hook, its point angled three degrees off the shank, with an extra-wide gap made for wacky-rigged soft plastics. Its light-wire stainless weed guard is built to slide through cover, which suits a bass angler working weedy banks, docks and laydowns. It gives a weedless way to fish a wacky-rigged bait without rigging a separate guard.
Best for
- Wacky-rigging soft plastics for finesse bass fishing
- Shallow weed and laydown fishing
- Anglers who fish pressured waters
Skip if
- You need a standard round jig head
- You fish deep open water
Strengths

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
