Quick take
Ten hand-tied spinner-fly combo lures combining a spinning blade with a fly pattern, sized for trout and bass on light line.
This 2.75-inch inline spinner weighs 1/16 oz and comes five to a pack, with a brass blade and a hand-tied fly trailing a double hook. It targets trout, bass, salmon, steelhead, pike and musky. Its small profile suits anglers working lighter tackle in smaller water.
Best for
- Freshwater trout in small to medium streams
- Panfish and crappie in ponds
- Anglers new to spinners who want a hybrid presentation
Skip if
- You fish tight cover; double hooks snag easily
- You need lures that cast far in wind
Strengths
- Hand-tied fly adds realism beyond the blade alone
- Polished brass blade creates flash to attract strikes
- Double hook design reduces snags by spreading hook gap
Trade-offs
- At 1/4 oz, limited casting distance and wind tolerance
- Double hook design means the lure creates more drag than a single-hook spinner
- Hand-tied materials may fray or unravel over multiple uses

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
