Quick take
3/8 oz wire spinnerbait with painted head and double willow blades for bass fishing in any water column.
The War Eagle Double Willow Painted Head Spinnerbait is a 3/8 oz wire spinnerbait with an epoxy-painted head and willow leaf blades. Painted willow blades add a visual trigger in clearer or stained water, which suits anglers working bass in those conditions. It is a casting bait for anglers who want a reaction presentation with a painted blade look.
Best for
- Retrieving through vegetation and around docks
- Fishing clearer water where blade flash matters
- Any water column from shallow to deep
Skip if
- You fish murky water where vibration matters more than flash
- You fish species other than bass
Strengths
- Double willow leaf blades flash and vibrate to attract bass reaction strikes
- Weight distribution allows burning through water at high speed
- Epoxy painted head resists chipping and durability concerns
Trade-offs
- Willow blades produce less vibration than other blade shapes
- 3/8 oz limits casting distance in headwind
- Blade tangling can occur on casting if line twist develops

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
